How to Update Imunify360 – LicenseCrate Guide
Keeping your Imunify360 installation up to date ensures your server stays protected with the latest security patches and features. At LicenseCrate, we’re all about making server security effortless. Follow the guide below based on your server’s operating system.
Update on CentOS, CloudLinux, or AlmaLinux
For systems using YUM (like CentOS, CloudLinux, or AlmaLinux), run the following command:
yum update imunify360-firewall
Update on Ubuntu (16.04, 18.04, 20.04, 22.*)
For Ubuntu systems, use these two commands to update the Imunify360 firewall package:
apt-get update
apt-get install --only-upgrade imunify360-firewall
⚠️ Note: For full release upgrades, you may need to manually edit Imunify repository files before enabling the new version.
Update on Debian (9, 10, 11)
On Debian systems, the update process is similar to Ubuntu:
apt-get update
apt-get install --only-upgrade imunify360-firewall
Important: Debian 9 is only supported up to Imunify360 version 6.11.
